Our Story...

As a classroom teacher, I constantly found myself in meetings where the focus was always the same: data, strategies, and results. Whether I was sitting down with my principal, collaborating with instructional coaches, or meeting with parents during conferences—it felt like I was always defending how I was moving students forward.

That pressure sparked a simple but powerful idea:

What if teachers had one place to collect everything expected of them?

Not just lesson plans, but a space that organized student data, tracked small groups, recorded strategies, and helped us plan with intention.

I created Pen to Paper because teaching is hard enough. Traditional planners don’t reflect the reality of our classrooms. We needed something better—a planner designed for the job.

A planner that helps us stay organized, intentional, and confident in our impact.
